スーツケースがだめになってしまいました。先日飛行機を乗り換える際に、中身検査にあたって、知らずに鍵をかけていたスーツケースがこじ開けられてしまいました。紙切れが1枚入っていて↑、"If the TSA security officer was unalbe to oepn your bag for inspection because it was locked, the officer may have been forced to break the locks on your bag. TSA sincerely regrets having to do this, however TSA is not liable for damage to your locks resulting from this necessary security precaution."との、一節がありました。「無理やり開けてごめんなさいね。でも鍵が壊れても私たちの責任じゃないんです」と述べるあたり、アメリカはある意味やっぱりすごい！？と思った次第です。
